On behalf of the staff, parents, and students of Mariners Christian School, I want to thank you for taking the time to learn more about our program. For over two decades, MCS has provided students with an educational experience that effectively blends outstanding academic instruction with opportunities for spiritual and social development. As a result, Mariners has become one of the top Christian schools in Southern California, a fact supported by our earning recognition as a National Blue Ribbon School and an ACSI Exemplary Schools Program award winner, both in 2007.

While national awards and recognition are certainly desirable, it is also important for a school to meet or exceed the expectations of its students and families. The faculty, administration, and staff members of MCS consistently strive to meet the needs of every student. Academically, Mariners students receive instruction from talented teachers in a safe, nurturing environment that allows each to excel. MCS graduates consistently qualify for top high school programs and continue to succeed at both the secondary and college level. In addition, the Christian ethic and spiritual grounding that students receive through their years at Mariners lead many to pursue service and leadership opportunities. Ongoing involvement in mission work, service to those in need, and efforts to better the community are common pursuits for MCS graduates. Faith in action is modeled by all members of the MCS community and this lesson is not lost on our students.
